Rare Earth Elements

Rare earth elements are exactly that—the ores of such rare earth elements possess the unique elemental electron action to allow these metals to be formulated into such a way as to be “super magnets” in comparison to non-rare earth elements such as iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), and others. However, these rare earth elements are very expensive to mine, and have extreme narrow optimum performance ranges. China presently has the greatest amount of mined rare earth elements.  However, rare earth elements can be found elsewhere, other than deep in caves and geological formations.
